I want to make this “sticky” because I want it at the top of every page!

Nothing feels less like good news than being told that ALTHOUGH you are a miserable worm who deserves to spend eternity in a sulfurous lake of hell-fire, a Holy God will overlook this by having someone innocent be publicly executed on your behalf–and we will call this “love.”

Yeah, well my mother was always capable of sending this very message to my soul with this same brand of “although you’re selfish beyond measure and don’t care about anyone but yourself, I will overlook it because I am a loving mother and therefore allows you to be in the house, eat food, and live.”
